Our Vampire Ball is back at Scala!
The Theatre shows will be themed and we encourage you to dress the part too!
As we settle in to our new venue, we're trying a new layout to see if it fixes some problems experienced at the first in June.
As you enter the Foyer bar area, before 12 you will be serenaded by the fabulous black metal banshee Artemisia Nathair who’s bringing her harp and allure to Club AntiChrist!
After 12 the 80's DJ will be back - everyone loved DJ Electric Dream and we loved the spontaneous dancefloor!
The den/large alcove opposite the bar will have curtains and will be used as a dark playroom. We won't be able to hold a queue beyond 4 people, as we don't want to block the dancefloor, bar or access to stairs. The door monitor will ask you to come back later if there are already 4 people waiting. It's quite a nice large space though, much bigger than we had at Fire, so we can fit more people in at any one time.
Up one flight of stairs there is the Theatre/Hellfire Dancefloor. Shows include Satan's Strip Show (with 4 new participants!), Miss Terri Boxx performing as Nosferatu, Odelia Opium performing Die Fledermaus, live music from Biomechanimal - London's Harsh Dance Monsters and Bloodthirsty Burlesque from the Vampire Countess herself, Dani Divine!
Up another flight of (red) stairs is The Hole, metal dancefloor. This is in the glass bar (the dungeon at the last event).
Up on the top floor then, is the Dungeon (was The Hole at the last event). Lots of space for equipment and room to swing a cat (o nine tails). The bar will stay open (venue requirement) but hopefully with the extra space it will be workable. There are some nice seating booths too.
Please do give us your feedback after the event, it's very helpful for us to add to our own views of how the night worked. We can always try another setup in December if needs be!
